A shiver ran down my spine when I saw that David Remnick had reached out to me early this morning with an urgent message. What new twist had the political campaign taken? (As if there were room for more twists!) What terrorist event or natural catastrophe had befallen us? Had someone passed away? Fortunately, it was only good news—the most extreme form of good news, at that. Our writers recollected their favorite Bob Dylan lyrics, and I sent a call to our artists. Within a few hours, Malika Favre, a French artist living in London, sent this image to help us celebrate a moment of profound happiness.
